All employees are trained yearly to ensure compliance with applicable export laws and regulations. All Kellstrom Defense business segments are registered with the Department of Directorate Trade Controls (DDTC), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Bureau of Industries and Security (BIS), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All business segments export controls impacts the export of ‘military’ goods, software, related technology, and services including controls of ‘dual-use’ goods, software and related technology.

The repair services segment has been assessed and approved by National Quality Assurance, USA, against the provisions of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9110:2016 and in accordance with the requirements of AS9104/1:2012. It is also certified 14 CFR part 145 (certificated repair station number 3KRR581C). Specializing in the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration of auxiliary power units, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel and avionics systems, landing gear, and wheels and brakes for defense and commercial platforms.
The implementation of the Quality Management System to the AS9110:2016 Aerospace Standard is complementary to the National Aviation Authority, applicable statutory requirements, including specific/contractual customer quality requirements such as the CASE 1A Standard. This enables our repair services segment to operate with increased effectiveness and efficiency by monitoring our key processes through performance metrics and enhancing customer satisfaction to achieve established strategic/quality objectives
